Workshop 2 - Jan 16th – 17th 2017
Workshop 3 - April 3rd - 4th 2017
CIRCOM Regional and DG Regio (EU Commission) organised a three-stage training programme in Brussels to help journalists explain how EU money is spent and how those who spend it should be held accountable.
Designed for editors, journalists and programme makers, this highly intensive and interactive training uses a mixture of workshops, Q & A sessions and group work to engage delegates in telling the stories that matter.
As well as gaining valuable insight into how EU funding is distributed and accounted for, participants also take part in interactive workshops on storytelling and creative thinking. They are meeting current practitioners from major European broadcasters who will share their day-to-day experience of covering EU institutions.
The first workshop took place 21– 23 November 2016 at the European Commission in Brussels - Workshop 1 report
Second workshop took place 16 – 17 January 2017 - Workshop 2 report
Final, third workshop will be held 3 - 4f April 2017.
Participants should be available to attend all three stages before signing up.
