Entries for Prix CIRCOM 2025 are now open

Prix CIRCOM Regional honours the best regional productions with cash and other awards of more than 40,000 euros. Entries for the most important international awards for regional programmes are now open. They are free to all member stations of CIRCOM Regional.

Each regional station is welcome to enter in 11 content and skill categories: once in Digital Multimedia, Diversity in Society, Documentary, Entertainment and Drama, Investigative Journalism, Most Original and Innovative, Music and Arts, News Programme, and twice in, News Report, Video Journalism, Young Onscreen Talent.

In 2025, for the first time, entries will be accepted even if no rights can be made available for broadcast or other transmission by CIRCOM members. This change means the Prix can be assured it attracts the very best productions and promotes the quality and range of public service video creation in the regions.

There are only two restrictions:

1. No cash award will be made to any winning entry for which rights cannot be wholly cleared. The cash value of the programme entry is assumed to have been exploited by the sale of rights already.
2. Every entry which is selected as Commended needs to be free of rights. This allows the selection of the Commended to focus on content which has not been fully commercially exploited, and probably with larger budgets and by larger stations.

In the News Programme Category broadcasters should enter News Programme only of Wednesday 12 February 2025. This rule has proven successful in Prix CIRCOM 2024.

Online Entry Form
Programmes (or items) must have been broadcast, delivered or made available online for the first time between Saturday 23 March 2024 and the closing date for entries, Friday 14 March 2025.
