14 judges, TV professionals from 13 European countries, have been named for the Prix 2017 judging, which will take place in Odense, Denmark, hosted by TV2Fyn, from 3rd till 7th April 2017. The winners will be announced in the week after the judging.

Elina Ravantti
Yle, Finland
Elina Ravantti has looked the European life from many angles. She has worked as Yle´s bureau chief both in Berlin and in Brussels. In 2011 she took a break from journalism to join the team negotiating Yle´s remit and model of finance as Head of Public Affairs of Yle. Since August 2014 Elina is in charge of Yle´s coverage of international affairs on TV, radio and online.
Stéphane Gaillard
FTV, France
After studying literature, Stéphane Gaillard began his career in the written press (Paris-Normandie, Liberté Dimanche and le Parisien). He then moved to the audiovisual sector and worked in several editorial newsrooms in the France 3 network, Amiens, Rouen, Bordeaux, and Clermont-Ferrand in 1980. In collaboration with DATAR, he presented “Massif”, a magazine specialized in economics for the “Massif Central” area. In 1996, he was appointed editor-in-chief of the local edition of France 3 in Tours, then editor-in-chief of France 3 Poitou-Charentes. During the great storm of 1999, he coordinated the first example of a region “opting into” national prime time. From 2003 to 2006, he was successively editor-in-chief of the regional newsrooms of Languedoc-Roussillon and Haute-Normandie. In January 2010, he was appointed in Orléans as regional delegate for the regional station “Centre”. On September 1, 2011, he returned to his native Normandy and became the regional delegate of France 3 Haute-Normandie. As of September 15, 2014, he was appointed Acting Regional Delegate of France 3 Basse-Normandie in addition to his responsibilities in Haute-Normandie. On February 1, 2016, he was officially appointed regional delegate of the two Norman stations and in 2017, he became regional director of Normandy (both Norman stations).
Daria Marjanović

Daria Marjanović, TV journalist, anchor and producer at HRT since 1988. Co-author of prime time TV magazines ˝Živa istina˝(Nothing but the truth) and ˝Zlatna ribica˝(Goldfish), author of docu-tainment series ˝Navodno˝ (So They Say), contributor and HRT coordinator for CNN World Report and later World View. Head of the program ˝Good Morning Crotia˝ 2004-2008. Editor in Chief of the HRT international radio channel Voice of Croatia and founder of its website 2013-2016. HRT coordinator for the Middle European TV magazine co-production ˝Alps Danube Adriatic˝ with shorter breaks since 2002. Allumna of the USA student exchange programs at UT and ASU. Winner of number of national and international awards.
Gunnar Henrich
Hessischer Rundfunk – ARD, Germany
Working as a freelance radio journalist for several years Gunnar switched to the TV in 2002 at the Hessische Rundfunk in Frankfurt. He worked for the regional news and magazine programs as a reporter and live reporter. From 2004 up to 2006 he worked for a TV-boulevard-magazine. Since 2003 Gunnar is working as a VJ for the news and documentaries and has been producing more than 20 reports of 30 minutes or more – some of them for the nationwide program ARD. For some of them he has been awarded. Gunnar has been working as a political correspondent in Wiesbaden, the capital of Hesse. Since 2008 Gunnar works as a trainer for VJs at Hessischer Rundfunk and for other contents for the editorial staff. Gunnar is working as a reporter, planner, chief and managing editor for the news and news-magazine “Hessenschau”, the most important TV program of Hessischer Rundfunk. He is also editor and sender editor for nationwide special programs. 3 months ago Gunnar won an internal competition of Hessischer Rundfunk on searching a new prime-time format of 45 minutes and actually is producing the pilot as a VJ..
Agnieszka Nawrocka

Agnieszka Nawrocka graduated from the Faculty of Literature (Master’s In Literature and Polish Philology - degree program: Media Studies) at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.
She has been working in Poznań Regional Television - TVP - since 2005.
She was a news reporter and has been working as director of documentary films, tv reportages, short documentaries and artistic programs for TVP.
Now she is an author of regional cultural program.
Klaus Unterberger
ORF, Austria
Klaus Unterberger is journalist, reporter/producer for Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (ORF). Since 2007 he is Head of the “Public Value Department” at the Head Office of ORF, focusing on the Public Service mission and remit, in charge of substantial elements of ORF’s quality control system, including a yearly Public Value Report, audience and expert panels, relevant scientific research, internal and external communications and international cooperation;He is working in close cooperation with EBU on different projects, including the EBU declaration “Empowering Society -" The Core Values of PSM. He is member of the Board of Ethics of ORF; He is hosting ORFs "DialogForum", a televised series of public debates on societal challenges and media quality.Recently he has produced two 55 min. TV documentaries, including "Vision Possible- Solutions for Europe".
Carolina Källestål
SVT, Sweden
Carolina is since 2014 Head of news at Sveriges Television, with five local news stations in the south of Sweden. She is also development manager for the whole of the local news at Sveriges Television.
Formerly Carolina worked with development of programmes and news at Swedish TV4 in different roles - such as head of news, chief editor, producer of documentaries, news anchor and news reporter.
Good storytelling and the audience in focus are two important ingredients in Carolinas work.
Svein Haaland
NRK, Norway
Svein Haaland is editor-in-chief, documentary department at NRK (Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation) regional office Bergen, Hordaland. Svein has been working in media since 1980. In NRK since 1991. Started as journalist with nature and science as main topics. From 1998 TV-producer, project manager and narrator. Produced mainly documentaries on human and nature relations. From 2009 editor-in-chief at the department of documentaries and factual entertainment, NRK Hordaland. Svein presented slow-TV, "Hurtigruten minute by minute" (world's longest live TV documentary), at the 30th Prix Circom Gala in Malmø 2012.
Christine Schwarz
RTBF, Belgium
Christine started working at RTBF 26 years ago. Graduated with an MA in electronic graphics at Coventry University, she worked at the graphic design department for 15 years and became the chief of the department. She than followed some training cycles and changed to the production of news magazines of several thematic events, like the national military parade, poverty, migrants... Lately she was in production charge of a cultural diversity show, especially made for the 10 years of the Unesco agreement. She works now for 6 years together with Alexander Pletser for European news programs on TV and Web and for the Citizenship Project together with CIRCOM. Therefore, she became Mojo judge in Budapest in October 2015. In May 2016 she started a new job as coordinator and producer in buying and selling news reports between EBU, TV5MONDE and RTBF.
Marian Voicu
TVR, Romania
Marian worked for 20 years in TV and radio as host and producer of various awarded programs and innovative formats, but he is deeply passionate about documentary film. He filmed in more than 30 countries, with solid background in Eastern Europe and strong affinity for Africa. In 2015 he received the Gold Medal - Ricardo Ortega Memorial Prize from United Nations Correspondents Association for "an outstanding documentary on the biblical escape from Syria".
In 2011 he was project manager at Radio Chisinau, a new Romanian Public Radio station in Republic of Moldova.
He is also a publisher for an on-line platform for romanian journalists worlwide and manager for annual traineeships for journalists from Republic of Moldova.
Caroline Ní Dhubhchóin
TG4, Ireland
Caroline Ní Dhubhchóin has 16 years’ experience as a producer, director, presenter and voice-over artist with TG4, RTÉ and various independent producers. She has worked extensively with the young people’s department in TG4 and in 2009 she was appointed department manager. She has created content for a variety of titles including light entertainment, factual, drama and the arts. Caroline holds postgraduate qualifications in journalism, drama and education respectively and she facilitates training with the Galway Film Fleadh and the National University of Ireland, Galway. In the past she has been a member of the international film festival, Ciak Junior, judging panel. Caroline is an advocate of the omni-channel content marketing approach. She is currently working as a director/producer with TG4 whilst undertaking a Masters in Digital Marketing.
Michael Lally
RTÉ, Ireland
Michael Lally is the Chief News Editor of RTÉ (Irish language). He has worked with Ireland's national broadcaster for almost thirty years, and now also leads the team who provides the Irish language News service to TG4 on behalf of RTÉ. His career in TV journalism includes being the national Editor at RTÉ for both Agricultural and Fisheries Affairs as well as Industry and Employment. He was Executive Producer of the Prix CIRCOM Magazine award winning programme Pobal in 2009. He currently produces the magazine TV programme Feilte. Michael has worked on over twenty documentaries and specialised in “developing world issues”. He has special responsibility within RTÉ for Regional Projects.
Marta Gómez González
TVG, Spain
Marta Gómez is a journalist specialised in cultural affairs. She started working in a public media broadcasting at the age of 21, in Radio Galega, the Galician public radio company.
Marta is widely experienced in magazines shows, programs about emigration experiences and in the last years musicals and cinema. Currently she is working on a cultural daily news program called Zigzag, which was awarded the “Mestre Mateo prize” (best Galician TV program) five times running.
Marta’s major interests are documentaries and social media, and she has a Masters degree in both areas.
Tim Smith
BBC, UK
Editor, BBC Look North, since 2007. Look North is the BBC’s regional programme for Yorkshire - a region of around 5 million people - the same population as Scotland.
Before that Tim worked for BBC national news for ten years as a producer, reporter and bureau editor. During that time he worked in eight different European countries for the BBC.
Tim also worked as a reporter for BBC Radio 5-Live - the BBC’s news and sport network - when he started in 1994.
