One of the keynote sessions will be
What do you do when your town is under attack?
Dominique Delhoume, manager at France Télévisions in Paris, and Jean-François Parmentier, Editor-in-Chief of the Paris newsroom, will demonstrate how FTV dealt with the multiple terrorist attacks on Paris in November 2015. The attacks occurred on a Friday evening when the staff already left for the weekend. How was the reporting coordinated, where were the stories placed, how do you deal with tiredness and keep reporting? What can we learn from French colleagues and how can we prepare for the worst?
