This interactive 3-day workshop is designed for anyone wanting to develop his or her confidence and skills as a trainer. By the end of the training, delegates are able to:
- manage small groups effectively
- recognize the strengths and weaknesses of different “learning styles”
- deliver training sessions in a variety of different ways
- deliver effective one-to-one coaching
- plan and deliver a training course of their own design.
The workshop is led by Mia Costello, a freelance editorial trainer who regularly works with the BBC Academy as well as other broadcasters around the world. She has led a number of CIRCOM workshops over recent years.

Your brief for Wednesday’s training exercise

25-minute training session delivered by each participant

The training is provided by CIRCOM Regional free of charge for employees of its member stations. All other costs (travel, accommodation, meals) must be paid by the applicant or their station and delegates need to book their own accommodation.
